The Republican Socialist Party (Granzerian: Republikánus Szocialista Párt) is a political party in the Kingdom of Granzery. It is the second-largest party in Granzery after the ruling Granzerian Renaissance Party, and forms the opposition government in the country.
The Republican Socialist Party was officially founded in 2018 following the expansion of sanctified political parties to include left-wing representation following a series of protests throughout the country, before the fascist coup of 2015, the party shares its roots with the Grozyar Socialist Party, including elements of the Granzerian Democratic Party and Communist Party of Granzery. Due to this broad range of support the RSP is highly factionalised, united by opposition to the ruling Granzerian Renaissance Party. Party founder and chairwoman, Violetta Lakatos has described the primary goal of her and the party's central apparatus to provide syncretic leftist representation to placate the separate factions of the RSP.
Since 2018, the RSP has consistently increased their share of the polls as other non-ruling political parties such as the Granzerian National Liberal Party and Royalist Society, plummet in support. Although the RSP has seen success in polling, the Granzerian Renaissance Party has also seen its support grow in the past two years.
