The Karpatlőszer PL 110M is a 125mm smoothbore tank gun designed and produced by the Granzerian Karpatlőszer Munitions Company, following the introduction of new Stasnovan 115mm and 125mm guns, which Granzery could not acquire a licence to manufacture due to worsening industrial relations with Stasnov, the Granzerian government embarked on a project in hte mid 1960s to develop a domestic gun chambered in 125mm VP standard ammunition. The gun was built entirely from the ground up, resulting in a gun that was far different from the domestic Stasnovan 2A46, more sophisticated metallurgy in Granzery in the 1960s compared to Stasnov resulted in a gun that was overall lighter and stronger, with a longer barrel life, than the 2A46.

In addition to the gun, the Granzerian military was also unable to acquire the plans for Stasnovan 2A46 ammunition, and thus began to develop its own APDS and HE shells capable of being fired from the 110M. The PcKTr-56 Huszár was originally armed with the 22M.A ammunition, which was largely identical to the early Stasnovan 2A46 ammunition. In the late 1970s the 22M.B ammunition was introduced which featured a tungsten perpetrator with greater mass than any Stasnovan or Western tank round at the time, weighing in excess of 7.44 kg.

Currently the PL 112M is the most common variant of the gun, which has a longer barrel, resulting in greater range and muzzle velocity, as well as an upgraded stabilizer. The PL 112M can fire either the 22M.F tungsten KE penetrator round while Granzerian PL 112M's utilize the 23M.C depleted uranium KE penetrator rod.
