Mihály Meggyesfalvi was the first President of the Second Republic of Granzery, and the sixth President of Granzery in general. He was elected during an internal election during the Granzerian War for the figurehead of the Republican Army and future President of Granzery. His involvement in the war itself was minimal. He was conscripted and served during the Second Great War with the Granzerian Royal Air Force squadron, Csoport-9, and flew in a Vertega V200 for two years before being shot down by a Stasnovan pilot over Elesar. He suffered a severe leg injury after ejecting from his aircraft which saw him honourably discharged from the Royal Air Force, he was noted as walking with a noticeable limp for the remainder of his life.
