A monument in Targovica dedicated to the salute

The Lipnitian salute (Lipnitian: липнитско поздравлене, lipnitsko pozdravljenje [lʲip'nit͡skɔ pɔzdra'vlʲɛnʲɛ], "Lipnitian greeting") is a gesture used as a salute and greeting by Lipnitian nationalists. The salute is performed by extending three fingers of the right hand into the air, and was originally a symbol of Orthodox Issianism symbolising the Holy Trinity and the dual nature of Isa. Eventually, the salute evolved into a symbol of Lipnitian ethnicity, and became compulsory for civilians during the military dictatorship of Lipnitian Commonwealth, while the military used an ordinary salute.
