The Nordfluss KFZ-9 Schwarzervogel is a Vazandian single-seat, twin-engine Stealth aircraft fighter aircraft designed for the Kaiserliche Republikanische Luftwaffe. The design was a finalist in the KRL's 1980s stealth fighter competition, battling the two other competitors for a production contract.

In the 1980s, the KRL began looking for a replacement for its fighter aircraft, especially to counter Stasnov's advanced Lu-27 and VeK-29. Several companies submitted design proposals; the KRL selected proposals from Nordfluss AG and Trapp Militärtechnik AG. Nordfluss teamed with Pommernschloss AG and Junkers-Mann to develop the KFZ-9, while Trapp and Regenshoff AG developed the YF-22.

The YF-23 was stealthier and faster, but less agile than its competitor. After a four-year development and evaluation process, the KFZ-9 was announced the winner in 1991 and entered production a few years later. The Imperial Republican Navy considered using the production version of the KFZ-9 as the basis for a new naval multirole, but those plans did not come to fruition until 2015
