The Imperial Republican Special Forces (Vazandisch: Kaiserliche Republikanische Spezialkräfte) is a specialized, independent branch of the armed forces of Vazandia. The Imperial Republican Special Forces were founded in 1974 with the goal of better organization of land, naval, and airborne special forces from the Army, Navy, and Air Force. While the KRS is a separate branch, it tends to act in a support role for the primary branches of the Armed Forces or as a specialized tool for the Imperial Republic.
