The GROSZTAR missile series, primarily comprising the GROSZTAR.k and GROSZTAR.n, the latter typically known just as GROSZTAR, are a family of vertically launched surface-to-air missile. GROSZTAR is manufactured by Vertega, the largest defence contractor in Granzery. The missile is designed to intercept and destroy a wide range of air threats, such as supersonic anti-ship cruise missiles at very low altitude (Sea-skimming) and fast flying, high performance aircraft or missiles.

The GROSZTAR 0A Pattern missile was developed in 2003 as a replacement to the RIM-66 Standard missile as a VLS-capable multipurpose Anti-air and Anti-ship missile.

Characteristics[edit]

There are currently two versions of the GROSZTAR missile family, the short-medium range version, GROSZTAR.k, and the long range version, GROSZTAR. The missile bodies are identical; Their difference in range and intercept speed is because GROSZTAR uses a much larger booster. Total weights of the GROSZTAR.k and GROSZTAR are 310 kg and 450 kg respectively.
