The 5.5×48mm VERSEC (official RDF nomenclature 5.5 GROZ, known colloquially as five-five) is an intermediate cartridge developed in Granzery and originally chambered in the FÉMC UHF, but later also used in other firearms such as the FÉMC GP80. It is the primary intermediate rifle cartridge of the VSO.
